This major celebration of basketball in Málaga, directed and coordinated by renowned former basketball players Berni Rodríguez and José Manuel Calderón, was once again a clear demonstration of the fantastic atmosphere that surrounds grassroots basketball, with more than 2,000 attendees who didn’t want to miss the event.
In parallel with the convention, the Huella 2025 Awards were presented at the CIBAForum Gala, recognizing once again the outstanding careers and social contributions of athletes and public figures. This year’s awardees were Paloma del Río, an icon of Spanish and international sports journalism; Anna Cruz, a former basketball player with an enviable list of achievements; and the Sport Change Project, a program dedicated to promoting the development of young female basketball players, led by Ángel Jareño and Ángel Sanz.
Higuerón Resort, as a regular partner of The Embassy TC, was present at the sports events held in Fuengirola and at the CIBAForum Gala, once again showing its support for sport and social initiatives that promote healthy and inclusive lifestyles with sport as a driving force.
